17) Finding a Purpose in your Career, Self education and Discipline with Jonny Rose
Today, we are joined by Jonny Rose. Jonny leads the Marketing at Slater Menswear, host of the "30 Something Podcast" and a Digital Content Creator.
Jonny shares his career journey that many of us go through in the UK, with a great insight into why he took some of these steps and what he learnt during each step.
We discuss Jonny’s experiences when he went travelling after working in London.
He explains why “Retirement won't be for me”, and how he needed a real purpose. This is where his self education mindset was really born and led to him going to New York for the Mountbatten programme.
Following his time in New York and an encounter with Gary Vee, we learn about Jonny’s decision to commit to the family business and lead the Marketing department. He shared how he is helping to modernise their approach without losing why customers love Slaters in the first place.
Lastly, we round off by going in on why discipline was the real key to Jonny finding his real purpose within his career and some of the sources he uses and advocates other young guys, in particular, use to develop themselves too

16) Not having your Identity Defined for you with Wallace Wilson
Today, we are joined by Wallace Wilson, PT, Online Coach and recent Love Island contestant to discuss having your identity defined by just one of your interests or activities.
Many of us can relate to being categorised by one thing we do. For Wallace, this has been a number of things in his life so far including Footballer, Mens Physique competitor, and more recently Love Islander.
We discuss competing defining you in the Fitness space and that as a PT most clients don’t even want this goal. Instead, Wallace’s business is about a triangular approach “Look, Move, Feel”.
Inevitably, we get into the topic of Love Island particularly regarding social media behaviour after the show, selling out, and using your platform positively. We take some time to discuss the following quote “People want to go on reality TV as their career instead of using it as a spring board for an existing career or business”.
Finally, we haver a conversation on breaking the stereotypes and assumptions of being categorised by one identity including self development sources and how to set yourself to make the most of these sources.

15) SOLO - When I hit Turbulence
The first Solo Pod so far, and I'm having a conversation with myself to explore a period of real turbulence in my life during May-June 2019.
I explain the real reason why I booked a fitness photoshoot for June 2019, what I learned through adversity, the importance of how you see yourself, and ways to make yourself more valuable.
If you are facing any adversity at this or if you are on furlough, have lost or are worried about losing your job, then this episode is what you need to hear right now.
Would love your feedback as always but especially for this one as it is my first solo attempt.

14) When the side hustle takes over with Ant Mellor
Today we are joined by Ant Mellor, 21 year old serial entrepreneur to discuss his experience in business and the process of turning your side hustle into your full time income.
Ant shares how starting his first business in the fitness clothing space led to him identifying how his second business could solve the same problems he faced for Clothing Start Ups. We have a great discussion of how to identify problems, present solutions, and provide support to your ideal customer group.
We find out how Ant scaled White2Label with just a £40 initial investment and made more revenue in four months than in the 2 and a half years of his first business. Ant and I discuss how he transitioned from this side hustle to his full time focus, as well as ways to take advantage of your current role to grow your side projects.
Pivoting and adjusting is nothing new to Ant, so it is amazing to hear how he has adapted to COVID as well as the structures and habits that enable him to progress his business. This leads to a conversation on self development sources and amongst this, we also chat about the impact COVID may have on the business world, remote working, and corporate culture.
A lot to enjoy and learn in this episode, and importantly relate to whatever area of life or business you're looking to succeed.
