#18 After Dark - Bryant Pham & JP: How Airsoft Is Changing The Firearms Industry, Being Asian In America, Family Dynamics & Finding Confidence Through Equalizer Hobbies - Skating, Video Games, Airsoft, Firearms & Fitness

In this week’s episode of After Dark, I sat down with co-host JP and our good friend Bryant Pham. Bryant is well spoken, highly intelligent and talented. I first met Bryant at the range when he came out to test his brand new AR-15 and I was blown away by how his prior airsoft experience carried over into shooting firearms. Our conversation began with Bryant sharing how his parents escaped from Vietnam and the cultural impact that many first generation Americans experience being raised by immigrants. Bryant discusses the challenges that Asian men face in today's society and exemplifies how key factors and cultural differences shaped who he is today. The three of us discuss: high school sports, skateboarding, racism, equalizer hobbies & much more! #17 After Dark - Rogue Methods Close Contact Gunfighter Course Review

Tune in for a complete review of my experience taking the Rogue Methods Close Contact Gunfighter Course with Raul Martinez. Head on over to the Iron Sights YouTube channel to visually see action from the course! This 45 minute review provides an in-depth look at my positive experience in Las Vegas taking the 1-day version of the Close Contact Gunfighter Course instructed by Rogue Methods CEO, Raul Martinez. The goal in creating this is to draw attention and show admiration for what Raul is doing and the community of people involved that came together to put their bodies to the test in preparation for a close contact gunfight self-defense scenario. I've trained a variety of Martial Arts: BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing (to name a few) but my personal goal is to experience and engage in multiple combat scenarios with an open mind to develop a well rounded perspective on what it takes to be prepared in today's world. Rogue Methods Mission:Rogue Methods was built to help you achieve individual and team growth-a proud endeavor! We will take your abilities to the next level in a shorter period of time with our focused, attention driven style of training, consulting and problem solving formulas. We are by your side. Helping you close the gaps needed to succeed in any venture you have chosen.Rogue Methods Description of The Course:This CCG program covers and trains the evolution of a gunfight at arms length or clinch distance. Our focus is to build a foundation within contact range and dominate in that available space. We’ll be on the range for live fire shooting, moving and problem solving drills. Then we’ll transition to clinch fighting and it’s practical applications for defense. Striking, grappling, ground fighting and tourniquet applications under stress will all be implemented and practiced throughout the day. The closing scenarios are optional and will include submunition pistols in live action drills with marking rounds. Class size is limited to 10-14 legal firearms owners, for a better individualized experience. No fighting experience necessary. We’re here to help build that foundation. Firearms safety and marksmanship is a requirement.Learn more about Rogue Methods Training Programs: https://rogue-methods.com/trainingVisit Rogue Methods Website: https://rogue-methods.com/Follow Raul Martinez: https://www.instagram.com/raul.martinez.jr/?hl=enMore Iron Sights Interviews:Triple Feed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMTc7AE0KaQ&t=384sKayley Gunner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfGqHxCv7Vc&t=522sMike Salemi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jq-Nj6M0EBI&t=335sAdam Schafer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiyrdWdO1y8&t=8sSal Di Stefano: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBdKdSjQ0BM&t=4425sJason Khalipa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTiq-sID-EMByron Rodgers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrtEyuVNNpwDonnie Oliver: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKY1_TLKHlIChris Cheng: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wr0zSGSTzKM&t=2sTraver Boehm: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_NLdIg3zBc&t=1394sTRAIN WITH US:RDF Online Training: https://www.reddotfitness.net/online-coachingCONNECT WITH US:Website - https://ironsightspodcast.com/Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/ironsightspodcast/Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/ironsightspodcast/Twitter - https://twitter.com/ironsightspodLinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/ironsightspodcast
