Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell launched Beekman 1802 in one of New York State’s poorest counties with no funding, and in the middle of a punishing recession. In this book, for the first time, Ridge and Kilmer-Purcell present the twelve principles that made the biggest difference in their entrepreneurial journey, and show how these principles are relevant for anyone ready to defy the odds and grow a brand that matters.
Whether you’re launching your own venture, growing a side hustle, or looking to make a bigger impact on your company, G.O.A.T. Wisdom will give you the tools, the confidence, and the inspiration to build something meaningful and lasting that your customers will value and feel they can’t do without.

The Chris Voss Show Podcast – Path to Pet Wellness: The Holistic Vet’s Guide to Thriving Pets and Empowered Pet Parents by Jeff Feinman
Path to Pet Wellness: The Holistic Vet’s Guide to Thriving Pets and Empowered Pet Parents by Jeff Feinman
Holisticactions.com/book-waitlist
Path to Pet Wellness is an enlightening guide for pet parents seeking a spiritual connection with their beloved animal companions through a “whole-istic” approach to animal care.
This informative guidebook introduces pet lovers to the concept that physical symptoms are more than just signs of illness—they are messages from the body, revealing the flow of energy and the deep connection to spirit. By focusing on optimizing BEAM (Behavior, Energy, Appetite, and Mood) and enhancing the overall quality of life, this guide encourages a shift away from limiting beliefs about symptoms, diseases, and diagnoses that often hinder happiness and health. Instead, it advocates for a more conscious, heart-centered approach to pet parenting, integrating the power of love as a healing energy.
Path to Pet Wellness is part of the growing movement toward Animal-Centered Treatments (ACT), aiming to restore the spiritual essence to holistic veterinary medicine and empower pet guardians to nurture their animals with deeper awareness and compassion.

The Chris Voss Show Podcast – How to Sleep Like a Caveman: Ancient Wisdom for a Better Night’s Rest―Based on the Evolutionary Science of Sleep from Saber-Toothed Tigers to Modern Insomnia by Merijn van de Laar
How to Sleep Like a Caveman: Ancient Wisdom for a Better Night’s Rest―Based on the Evolutionary Science of Sleep from Saber-Toothed Tigers to Modern Insomnia by Merijn van de Laar
Amazon.com
Sapiens meets Why We Sleep in an evolutionary romp through the science of sleep—and how we can get better rest—by one of the world’s leading sleep scientists.
We spend roughly a third of our lives in bed, but for millions of us, not all of that time is spent sleeping. We strive for eight hours per night, only to lie awake thanks to stress, our ever-present devices, a new baby, or that 4pm coffee you thought you needed.
As sleep scientist and recovering insomniac Merijn van de Laar shows, we’re hardly the first to experience this. When homo sapiens evolved hundreds of thousands of years ago, when saber-toothed tigers were their biggest nighttime worry, wakefulness served to protect one’s tribe at night. Research shows these episodic sleep patterns even gave our ancestors an evolutionary advantage. We can look to their example for guidance in improving our sleep health, too: how our sleep patterns change as we age, the benefits of communal sleep, the importance of environmental factors such as temperature and light. While our myriad gadgets may distinguish us from early humans, understanding the ways our brains evolved to rest can chart the course toward a better night’s sleep.
Drawing from emerging science, archeological research into our ancestors’ habits, and close observation of contemporary hunter-gatherer cultures, How to Sleep Like a Caveman explains everything from why we sometimes jerk awake at night—likely a remnant of having slept in trees—to why our efforts to “optimize” our sleep schedules might just be a fool’s errand. The result is a surprising, accessible new framework for thinking about sleep—the way we were designed to.

‘More Perils of Motorcycling’ is the continued story of my motorcycle travels across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States during the previous decade. Other travels include riding two different BMW 650cc motorcycles in the Northern Territory and the Kimberley region in the tip of Western Australia.
A highlight of my travels was a month-long ride ‘Around Oz 2016’ on my reliable 2011 Harley Davidson Blackline motorcycle. This trip was solely undertaken to raise awareness of the rare disease called ‘Batten disease’. This is a life-limiting neurodegenerative (a type of dementia) genetic disease, which mostly impacts young children. Join me on my motorcycle travels – some off-road, with many adventures in between.

Is there a secret code in the Bible? Do you want the key to that code? Tradition to Truth is a journey through time and tradition. It will teach you how to find the answers many people have about the Bible. This is a story of how one man asked for answers and discovered those answers were not what he expected. If you are willing to challenge your traditions and strengthen your faith, this is for you.
About the author
Growing up on a farm and working with large animals for most of my life gave me a great deal of insight into the blueprint our Creator used to design our world and mankind. When I began asking questions that no pastor or Rabbi could answer without twisting the Bible out of context I began to read everything I could about where some of these traditions first originated. I soon discovered the answers are already in the Bible if we are willing to put our traditions and man made doctrines aside and actually read what is written. The result is in the books, what has taken years of research and forensic analysis of the Bible may answer some of your questions and raise even more.

My Inner Heroine: Exploring Feminine Pain by Kerry Blaser

“Pain is beautiful, because it shows us what needs to be healed.” Universal Wisdom
Exploring my maternal pain was both tortuous and exhilarating. I felt every emotion under the sun from shame to fear to anger to pride to love to compassion to enlightenment.
I did a deep dive into my soul’s darkness, also known as my shadow, to heal from my childhood trauma. I unearthed a vast supply of self-love, self-compassion and self-belief. My shamanic gifts were also “hidden” in there. I had no idea what a treasure-trove my shadow actually is.
Inside of my shadow, I am a shamanic heroine. I learned how to transform my emotional pain into more self-love. It’s an initiation process where hard, painful work came first. Then, valuable wisdom was my reward.
The initiation process for the channeled quote above was excruciating. I had to experience 35 years of debilitating lower back pain first. Only then, was I ready to receive and comprehend that wisdom.
This book guides you through the tumultuous process I experienced in order to understand myself and the world around me. I grant you intimate access to explore my emotions, relationships, misunderstandings and epiphanies.
I reveal what it took for me to heal from my childhood trauma, become a shaman and experience enlightenment. Hopefully, my story will inspire your own personal growth and self-reflection work. Happy healing!
