Deddy Wigrarha is the Head Coach of the Indonesia National Team and Dimas Brarmastyo is one of the athletes from the said team. Both are based in Jakarta, Indonesia.Deddy would be exposed to Jiu-Jitsu in 1996 in the USA, when he was a student in university, which in turn would ultimately shape the future of Jiu-Jitsu in Indonesia. By 2011, Deddy would form 'Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Indonesia' and develop as a coach not only for athletes but for the special forces of Indonesia.Dimas would come to discover Jiu-Jitsu in college and falling in love with the sport so much so that he would represent Indonesia as a 'Newaza' athlete. Mateusz Szczencinski thought a hard name to pronounce, is now synonymous with high level leglocks. His patented 'Aoki-lock' & 'Shotgun ankle-locks' have earned him both an invite and win in ADCC Worlds 2022 and has earned him the Polaris Welterweight Belt.Kamil a fierce competitor in his own right, was a late replacement at ADCC Worlds 2017 in Finland. Together, they decided to start what is now called, "Leglock Camp" in 2019 that has brought them all over the world. Kamil & Mateusz were kind enough to sit with us to discuss all things grappling. Grapple Asia Interview Ep. 16 | JB 'Jibs' Chalbos | Carpe Diem Hong Kong & The remnants of Temple Jiu-Jitsu

Jean Baptiste Chalbos AKA 'Jibs' is an old school Black Belt under Mariusz Linke of the notorious Gold Team in Poland. Originally from a small town in France, he started Judo well before Jiu-Jitsu competitions were even legal in France and eventually a job offer would lead him to Ireland. The Host Mac and JB met back in 2017 in a small gym in Yokohama and this brief encounter, would eventually move JB from working in Ireland to managing and coaching Temple Jiu-Jitsu in Phuket, Thailand. Mac caught up with Jibs for first since their encounter in 2017 to catch up on their respective lives.
