PLL Happy Hour: Mike Manley Talks Playoffs

Chris Rosenthall and Kevin Brown welcome veteran close defenseman Michael Manley to the show to discuss his Outlaws giving him a fourth chance at a professional championship. Manley is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year back in the MLL days playing for Tim Soudan for the Rattlers (he actually started playing for Soudan at the club level before he got to Duke, where he won a NCAA title in 2010), and made it to three title games in 2014, 2015 and 2018. Manley discussed how he originally thought about retiring two years ago before Soudan drafted Brennan O'Neill and traded for Pat Kavanagh, re-energizing his efforts these past couple seasons. Rosie and Kevin also recapped the semifinal victories for the New York Atlas against the Waterdogs and Denver against California, setting the stage for what promises to be an epic clash in the title game on Sept. 14.
