On January 6th, the Anaheim Ducks came into Philly with the mindset of taking liberties and “avenging” the way they were pushed around in Cutter Gauthier’s first trip to Philadelphia the year prior. For the 23rd time in 2025-26, the Philadelphia Flyers went to overtime! After a mostly uneventful 3v3 (until the final 30 seconds) we got to see yet another shootout! Alex Bump scored his second career goal in the 1st period to tie the game after Kirill Marchenko scored early, and that was the last of the game’s scoring until Kirill Marchenko ended the shootout.
