The Covid outbreak scrambled the Flyers' schedule up a bit in February and as a result, the Flyers and Devils haven't played a game since late January. Since then the wheels have fallen off for the Flyers and the Devils have won some tough games, but the Devils are still not a good hockey team. The Flyers should still be able to beat them. The Philadelphia Flyers played well for two-and-a-half periods and were leading the East Division-leading New York Islanders 3-0 with about 12:10 left to play in the third period. Then, in an all too familiar scene, one bad thing happened and, suddenly, the score was tied with 5:33 left in regulation. Then, Oskar Lindblom came to the rescue. After Lindblom's "reset" scratching the night prior, he netted his second score of the night with under three minutes on the clock, and this time the orange and black would not relinquish their lead, handing the Isles their first loss in regulation on home ice since last February.
