RVE 108: Why It’s Lame to Start A Business You’re Not Passionate About
In this episode, I’m interviewing Marshall from Finding Marshall and Camp Addict. Marshall has been traveling in his 24 ft. Lance travel trailer since 2014 and blogging at Finding Marshall about his travels and insights into nomadic life. For the first couple of years on the road, Marshall worked a full-time job. Then, like so many others that we have talked with in this lifestyle, Marshall realized that he wanted more freedom and he wanted to build something of his own. So he left his job and spent eight months building a website that he ended up not being really passionate about. Before going back and getting another job, he decided to give entrepreneurship another try. This year, Marshall co-founded Camp Addict, a site built with the goal of being the #1 source for camper accessories, travel trailer accessories, and motorhome accessories. While it might sound obvious, we talked about why it's so important to start a business that you actually care about and something that you want to be doing, instead of something you think you can make a buck at.
