This heatwave is creating all sorts of havoc; today we have learned that we may be due an influx of sharks towards the UK coastlines since the water is now at warmer temperatures. The world cup is over, Wimbledon has finished so its back to Brexit (and the rest). The day has finally come, and Donald Trump himself has made it to the UK. He may be mostly dodging London during his visit but that has not deterred protesters who have descended the streets of London, Oxfordshire and Edinburgh to make their point... Trump's long anticipated trip to the UK is almost upon us today, to mixed reactions. Lottery Funding, Extravagant School Trips and Dame Esther Rantzen
Labour MPs have sent and signed a letter to Camelot calling for more transparency on the location of winning tickets and questioning the allocation of Lottery Funding, while recent figures reveal doesn't go to as many diverse courses as you would expect. Roy calls from Liverpool which has been allocated funding but this hasn't reached the less affluent areas of the city.Have school trips become a bit too extravagant? Mike thinks parents should just shell out, while Daisy thinks its damaging to children with less affluent parents.
