Optimism is returning to the market as interest rate drops may be on the horizon. Interest rates may be Higher for longer, or we may transition into an age of abundance. In the meantime though lower interest rates for 2024 is likely what we’re getting. She started her career as a macroeconomist at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 1998, and has also worked at the Central Bank of Norway. There are some who believe that under a gold-backed currency, governments would have to earn money, just like the rest of us do. That means they’d have to learn fast how to be efficient with how they spend, and bring in revenue.
