Down With Boring #167: Naomi Scott
Dork's flagship podcast-slash-radio-show Down With Boring returns with an hour of extra sunlight and Naomi Scott in tow, fresh off the release of her brilliant new album 'F.I.G.' The acting-type-turned-pop-force joins us for a chat recorded at London's hive of new music, the Sebright Arms – and, because we can't help ourselves, we're also settling the very important question of whether Jamie or Jake would make a better backup dancer. The debate ends here.
Elsewhere on the show, we're crowning Fcukers and - you sort of have to, right - Harry Styles as our albums to 'focus' on, having a laugh about CMAT using Harry Hill as a dartboard (as you do), and running through all the drama from this year's BRIT Awards. Plus, we've got a segment on the best shows of the month – including Jamie checking in with thoughts on Dork's Round the Houses Antony Szmierek tour, and Jake's take on David Byrne's absolute masterclass.
As for new music? We've got stacks of it. Expect to hear fresh cuts from Carly Hann ('Alone'), My First Time ('The Kids Are'), Girl In The Year Above ('Mama, My Heart Is Achin'), and Really Good Time ('Bob Dylan Was On Pawn Stars In 2010'). Yeah, that last one's a real title.

Down With Boring #0166: Westside Cowboy
Jake and Jamie check in with Westside Cowboy at both ends of their completely sold-out UK headline tour — once at the start, and once at the finish line (cheers, technology failures). Across the episode, they dig into the band’s rapid rise, the reality of touring, and – as ever – the important stuff, including what absolutely nobody wants to discover downstairs after hosting a house party. With Latitude Festival on the horizon for the band this summer, there’s also a look ahead to what that set might bring.
Elsewhere, the pair get stuck into the cultural Super Bowl that is the Halftime Show, weigh in on Harry Styles being announced as the 2026 curator of Meltdown Festival, and take a deep dive into Charli xcx’s brand new album ‘Wuthering Heights’ as the film hits cinemas.
There’s also a stack of new music to get into, including fresh cuts from MUNA, Fcukers, Bleachers and Sorry, before Jake and Jamie round things off by picking out their favourite moments from this month’s issue of Dork.

Down With Boring #0165: Overpass
Overpass join as special guests. We get into their debut album, life on the road, what touring actually does to your brain, and whether they’d happily live on a log flume forever.
There’s plenty of new music to get stuck into too. We’re talking Madison Beer’s new album, A$AP Rocky’s latest, and spinning fresh tracks from The Itch, Lime Garden and Bleech 9:3, alongside a cut from the extended edition of Viagra Boys’ most recent full-length. Elsewhere, we catch up on the new WarChild ‘HELP(2)’ album, discuss Harry Styles being back(!)-Back(!!)-BACK(!!!), and get into this year’s BRIT nominations.

Down With Boring #0163: Xmas Special with Fred from Spector
This week, Fred from Spector drops by to chat about the shows wrapping up the year, the 10th anniversary of ‘Moth Boys’, and what Christmas presents he’d buy for Nelson Mandela and CMAT. Naturally. We also get into our favourite — and least favourite — Christmas classics, talk about ‘Lullaby’ by Together For Palestine, and attempt to unpack the mystery of Elton John’s oven.
We’ll be back in January with a special live episode recorded on stage at Rockaway on 2nd January.

Down With Boring #0162: The Best of 2025
This time Jake and Jamie are running through the tracks and albums that made their 2025 - expect a bit of Viagra Boys, a touch of Antony Szmierek, a teaspoon of Turnstile and a big old helping of CMAT.

Down With Boring #0161: Danny Brown, ROSALÍA, Hayley Williams and more
Another Monday, another Down With Boring. This episode, we’re diving into Danny Brown’s latest full-length, ‘Stardust’ — a wildly inventive, joy-soaked reinvention from an artist who’s swapped chaos for clarity without losing the weird. Clean(ish), gym-going and living in Austin with a new crew of hyperpop misfits, Danny’s found his people and made a record that sounds like 2025: part grime flashback, part future-pop meltdown, all personality.
There’s new music too, obviously — Hayley Williams adds another track to her ever-expanding solo album with ‘Showbiz’, while ROSALÍA’s ‘La Perla’ lands as part of an album that’s set to scramble those end-of-year lists. Holly Humberstone is back with ‘Die Happy’, Sorry preview their new album ‘COSPLAY’ with ‘Candle’, and The Itch drop ‘Space In The Cab’, right before their First Fifty show for Dork at London's Sebright Arms this week.

Down With Boring #0159: Divorce
We’re joined by Friends of the Magazine and Dork 100 at The 100 Club alumni Divorce, fresh from the surprise release of the deluxe edition of their brilliant debut album ‘Drive to Goldenhammer’. With new single ‘Wendolene’ in the wild, we’ll be catching up on what’s been ‘quite the year’ for the four piece.
Elsewhere, we’re taking a closer listen to Hype List stars Good Neighbours’ debut ‘Blue Sky Mentality’, plus new tracks from Westside Cowboy (‘Don’t Throw Rocks’), Maisie Peters (‘Audrey Hepburn’), Sorry (‘Today Might Be The Hit’) and Fcukers (‘I Like It Like That’).

Down With Boring #0158: Sprints
Down With Boring is back, and we’ve got a bumper show lined up. This week, Friends of the Magazine and former Dork cover stars Sprints swing by, with Sam and Jack chatting all about their brand new – and properly ace – album, plus plenty of nonsense besides.
We’re also diving into the buzzy new record from Geese that’s picking up rave reviews everywhere, while in tracks we shine a light on Olivia Dean’s crowning moment and celebrate the brilliant return of Danny Brown, alongside fresh new cuts from current cover star Tame Impala and the Really Very Good Brogeal. With new festival lineups dropping and a whole lot more to chew over, it’s set to be another jam-packed night with Down With Boring.
