Encore from 09/15/2023 Average parent spends more time on their devices than they do with their kids Edward - My wife and I would like to be more generous with our time. What can we do? Ashley - Thank you to RR. I came back to the Church through you. Rose (email) – I used to stop listening to segments of the show that dealt with abortion because it was too painful of a topic for me to hear. I now face this pain and I offer that pain to the Lord. Therese - I've had 3 abortions. If programs like this were around when I was young, I would not have had those abortions. Angela - As a teen mom, I want to tell people that they will never regret giving their child life.

Encore from 09/15/2023 Dominic - Is it a mortal sin for a Catholic Doctor to perform an abortion? Laura - My husband and I adopted 9 years ago and it is so lovely. Adoption is a great option. Joe - There is a young woman with down syndrome across the street who is always smiling. Her grandparents wanted her to be aborted. Marla - I was protestant and our minister advised us to use birth control. In a way that is aborting the fertilized egg. There is a great sorrow that I have for using birth control. Joey - I helped my fiancé get an abortion. She ended up having it, and I regret it. Email – Would a Catholic doctor be excommunicated if they prescribed abortion or birth control pills? Pamela - I am a sibling of an aborted baby and would like to share how that impacted me. It was a huge burden to find out I was missing a sibling. Patrick - My ex-wife had an abortion 35 years ago and it still hurts my heart. I think of it every day.

We had him and he has been such a blessing. Ben - My daughter was 14 and told me she had sex so I gave her the day after pill. Since then, I realized that was a mistake and want to encourage people to be open to life. Conway - I had a vasectomy. I didn't know it was a sin to do that. I would like to tell other men that they shouldn't do them. Dan - I took a girl to an abortion clinic when I was younger. I still think about it today and still regret it. Dan (email) – Is it okay to use the word Karma? Abbey - I am a mother of 5 and I struggle with postpartum depression. It made me reflect on my own family and what I should be doing to be the best mom I can be. Kevin - Your call was amazing yesterday. My wife used to use birth control before she realized that it was a sin. We ended up having more kids and it has enriched out life.

Why would it let that happen but not other means of contraceptives? Can they use condoms in order to protect themselves from STDs? Ken - How do you square God wanting me to be happy with the annulment process? My wife divorced me and the annulment process is taking a while. I want to do God's will but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do.

Alisha – Should I have an abortion? She is literally on her way to have an abortion when she accidently found our show. Patrick guides her to reconsider. This is a powerful call that you will never forget. Patrick shares some emails from listeners who are praying for Alisha and her baby Mark - I would be willing to help Alisha financially. Jenny - I had an abortion. I am a coordinator for Silent No More in Chicago. I would like to encourage her to keep her child. Patrick - At our Church we pray for people contemplating abortion so I think she was a prayer answered for us. Lydia - I regret using birth control for two years of my life. If I knew the resources out there I would not have gone on pill.
