The Patrick Madrid Show: January 24, 2024 - Hour 1

Today’s episode homes in on the essence of sportsmanship in youth athletics. Patrick leads us into poignant discussions sparked by calls and emails from our listeners about the role of competition and its formative impact on children. We dissect policies that remove scoring from the game, debate the pros and cons of participation trophies, and highlight the crucial life lessons that playing sports can impart to the young and eager minds on the field. Robin (email) – What are your thoughts on not keeping score for youth sports?
