Paid to be Perfect, a memoir written by a retired professional model.
We are back again with another episode of The Relatable Voice. Today, the RV is heading to Columbus Ohio to speak with Heather Mathes. Heather is a retired professional model, and is now working in the world of nutrition, fitness and wellness. Her book “Paid to Be Perfect: The Secret to Finding Your Perfect” is out now. Heather Mathes began modeling in 1988. She continued modeling professionally after graduating from the Ohio State University with a B.S. in Marketing in 1993 before signing her first contract fit modeling with a major national retailer in 1996. After a 10-consecutive-year fit modeling contract, as well as modeling for other companies outside of her contract, she retired to become a mom in 2008. She then came out of retirement in 2016 at the age of 46 to continue fit modeling for the same company at the exact measurements she was in her twenties, not because she was under contract, but because she had developed health and wellness methods that kept her weight from fluctuating. These methods and more are what she shares in her book Paid to Be Perfect. She lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband, her son, and her dog. Strat.a.gem is a fast-paced, action-packed mystery thriller. By Rick E Cutts
Rick E Cutts was born in 1978 in Chicago Illinois. He grew up in a creative household, and his parents always encouraged him to read and often presented puzzles or thought-provoking questions to make him think. That is where his passion for mysteries and trying to guess how a story ends started. Most of the time, he guesses the endings and wishes for more unpredictable endings. That same passion is what led Rick to write his own stories with plenty of twist and turns that have readers guessing all the way through! - Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/lucia-matuonto/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/lucia-matuonto/support
