We like being in control because it gives us a sense of security. Control promises to remove anxiety, offer certainty and protect us from the discomfort of unknowing. But faith requires trust and believing in something that cannot be known. If you’re looking for a big change in your life that feels impossible, you may be stuck by your own limitations. This message uses the vision of Ezekiel 47 to help you determine how deep your faith is. There are moments that mark us forever and memories that take us back. But it’s the moments when God moves that are worth remembering - those are the moments that give us hope for the future. In Joshua 4, the Israelites built a memorial of Ebenezer stones so generations to come would remember the miracle of God how provided for them.
