The view from Japan on Takumi Minamino and what kind of player Liverpool fans can look forward to
We don’t know if you’ve seen it, but there’s brilliant footage on our Blood Red YouTube channel of members of the Official Liverpool Supporters Club in Japan watching Takumi Minamino’s Reds debut together. If not, you can watch it by clicking HERE. And after we uploaded that, the club got in touch with the Liverpool ECHO to see if we’d like to record a podcast about Minamino signing for Liverpool and the impact of the deal in Japan. Naturally, we were more than happy to oblige, and at 3.15pm on Monday afternoon in Liverpool – and 12.15am in Japan – Paul Wheelock picked up the phone to Yumiko Tamaru, who is the secretary of the Official Liverpool Supporters Club in Japan. Enjoy – and we'll be back soon with Jurgen Klopp's pre-West Ham United press conference. For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices.
