This week, we had sort of an emergency episode where Chrissy and Chaz talk about what we were taught about being pro-life as a child and teen and our current beliefs. We talk about the new Texas law and how to help out. 

We conclude the story of Charles Parham, the modern inventor of speaking in tongues. He gets into a lot of crazy stuff in this episode so enjoy!

This week, Chrissy, Donovan and Chaz talk about speaking in tongues, our own experiences and the origins from the Bible and how they are used today.

I had a good and touching conversation with John. We talked about right wing media and complicated relationships with church, parents and right wing ideology. We talked a lot about his relationship with his father. 

We have a long discussion about what we were taught about aliens, what we believe now, Eziekel's vision, a conspiracy theorist book about the subject and how the church would react to an alien invasion. 

My friend Tim joins me for a long conversation. Tim has been my friend for almost 30 years and we grew up in the church. He became a pastor and then walked away. I hope you enjoy his story and some of my ramblings too. 

We continue our discussions on youth retreats and pull some stories from the internet and some more of our own experiences. We also talk about a Canadian church getting into trouble for breaking the law over covid. 

This week Chaz is joined with special guest Jennie. We talk about Psalty, punk, the LGBTQ community, being a parent and growing up in the church. Enjoy!!!!
