In this episode of The EdUp Experience, we talk to Dr. Kevin Kruger, the President of the National Association for Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), the body representing Student Affairs professionals at every level.  In this timely and important conversation, Kevin talks to us about the state of student affairs across college campuses given the pandemic and the exhaustion student affairs professionals have been feeling.  We discuss different operating models, why student affairs may see cuts with declining enrollment and the fact that spring is right around the corner. Dr. Kevin Kruger draws on more than 40 years of experience in higher education. Since 2012, he has served as president and CEO for NASPA – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. Prior to his role as president, Dr. Kruger worked for 18 years as the associate executive director and served as the chief operating officer (COO) and chief financial officer (CFO) for NASPA. He has held a range of student affairs positions at Southern Methodist University and the University of Maryland. As NASPA president, Dr. Kruger represents student affairs at a variety of national forums and is a frequent contributor to higher education news stories on the college student experience. The transaction comprised the purchase and sale of numerous companies, two of which were Greg’s.  He has won: Tech Deal of the Year Over $250 million, Private Equity Deal of the Year Over $500 million to $1 billion, and Cross Border Deal of the Year Over $500 million to $1 billion to name a few.
