Survive and Advance
Episode 68. Survive and Advance. September. For me... it was my danger zone. When I coached high school I looked at the month of September with a mixture of excitement and anxiety. Mostly anxiety. It was great to get the team back together in school but I also knew that coming back to school meant so much more stress for the athletes. The schedules they had all Summer were about to get completely thrown out. Class. Homework. Sickness. Races. Teachers. Classmates. Sickness. Late lunches. Early lunches. Missed breakfasts. Poor sleep. September was hard. And we were supposed to get better while we dealt with all of this? Everyone has their own September. Could be another month of the year like December or January or June. Could be a danger zone that lasts a week or a day. Sometimes it can feel like all you can do is survive and advance. So, if you can learn how to handle and deal with and get through your own "September" a better way then you will not just survive and advance you will thrive and move forward. That's what I did with my Septembers. Hope you enjoy this episode and thank you to mindset performance coach extraordinaire tammie bennett of the show up society for another great MIndset Minute.
