This true story is about John Mark Dougan, a Marine Corps veteran and former police officer who had enough of the violence and crime plaguing the Criminal Justice system. He blew the whistle and was retaliated against by the police administration. Dougan started setting up whistleblower websites all around the country for good cops to spill their secrets without fear or retribution. The justice system launched illegal investigation after investigation into every aspect of John's life, and John set up a clever operation to trick them into admitting they were illegally accessing his email and social media accounts. When the FBI ignored John's demands for an investigation, he became BadVolf, starting a digital war with the very law enforcement agencies who were retaliating against him.John tricked everyone, including the media, into believing he was a Russian hacker before engaging in a strategic, one-man campaign of disinformation, fake news, hacking, social engineering and doxing. Shawn Rech, the director of another documentary, "Convicting a Murderer," told Fox News' Dana Perino on "The Daily Briefing" Tuesday that the bombshell confession was captured on tape and has been turned over to investigators who "need to dig in."Steven Avery, 57, and his nephew, Brenden Dassey, 29, were both convicted of Halbach's murder and sentenced to life in prison. Wisconsin inmate has reportedly confessed to the murder of Teresa Halbach. The inmate, who will remain unnamed until Wisconsin law enforcement has access to said confession, told filmmakers of upcoming documentary series Convicting a Murderer, that he was responsible for the infamous death, as seen on Making a Murderer.Currently, there are two men behind bars for Halbach's death. Both claim they are innocent. Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey have both spent years fighting for their freedom. Ann Wolbert Burgess, D.N.Sc., APRN, FAAN, is an internationally recognized pioneer in the assessment and treatment of victims of trauma and abuse. She has received numerous honors including the Sigma Theta Tau International Audrey Hepburn Award, the American Nurses’ Association Hildegard Peplau Award, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Episteme Laureate Award. Her courtroom testimony has been described as “groundbreaking,” and she has been called a “nursing pathfinder.”Her research with victims began when she co-founded, with Boston College sociologist Lynda Lytle Holmstrom, one of the first hospital-based crisis counseling programs at Boston City Hospital. She then worked with FBI Academy special agents to study serial offenders, and the links between child abuse, juvenile delinquency, and subsequent perpetration. Her work with Boston College nursing colleague Carol Hartman led to the study of very young victims and the impact of trauma on their growth and development, their families and communities. Her work continues in the study of elder abuse in nursing homes, cyberstalking, and Internet sex crimes.
