In our latest trip to primary schools across the country, Shauna from the show headed off to meet the students from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class in St. Mary’s NS in Oldtown, Co. Dublin. It’s a lovely small school with a total of just 59 students! She spoke to Bolu, Molly, Jack, Bronwyn, Emily, Isobelle, James, Tyler, Sarah, Jack H , Elina, Ben, Zara, Josh, Jacob and Éva. She asked the gang about the proposed installation of iPads in playgrounds, as a way to entice children into the fresh air and she also quizzed them about new research, which states that only one in five of Under 25s can read a map, change a tyre or grow fruit or vegetables. Thanks to Ms Elebert who organised the visit and principal, Ms Jane Kirwan.
