Not only does the gospel grant us the righteousness we need, but it also supplies the power for us to keep fighting sin by faith.

By faith, God gives us the righteousness we don’t deserve. We could never earn it on our own, but Jesus broke sins claim on all who believe.

The great aim of our ministry should be the same as Paul’s: to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of God’s glory.

God changes our hearts, sustains in faith, and brings us all the way home, all because of his sovereign, unquenchable commitment to do his covenant people good.

To delight in God is to bring him the glory he deserves. He gets glory; we get satisfaction — all when our joy runs deep in God.
