BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Senate Votes to Pay TSA Workers
It took the pressure of an Easter vacation to get lawmakers to finally fund DHS and get long overdue paychecks to TSA workers. Around 2am ET, the senate passed a version of a spending package that would fund the agency, minus ICE and border patrol. The House still has to pass the senate’s version, but that’s expected later today. Utah Mom Charged With Kidnapping Her Child’s Alleged Bully
Prosecutors have charged 40-year-old mom Shannon Tufuga with child kidnapping and aggravated child abuse after police say she snatched an 11-year-old off his bike and took him to her home. Police say Tufuga then forced the child to apologize to her son for allegedly bullying him and threatened him with violence if he did it again.
