Episode #4 - Marshall Gevers: The Man Who Crawls

Welcome to our very first interview here at the R2Podcast! This week Alex and Sean sit down and chat with Marshall Gevers, a fellow student at Logan University who has spent nearly the past year exploring an unconventional mode of rehab for his lingering shoulder issues: crawling on all fours. We talk about everything from how he got into chiropractic, why he decided to film himself crawling on TikTok for the world to see, and how his mindset surrounding what we do for our patients has changed over time. We can't wait to hear what you all think about this episode and are looking forward to bringing on many new guests in the future. Please give Marshall a follow on TikTok and Instagram @marshallgevers. Also, please subscribe to our podcast so that you never miss an episode, and if you listen on Apple Podcasts give us a 5-star review.

Episode #2 - Alphabet Soup: Part One

Welcome back to Rehab2Podcast! We've made it to our second episode, and this is a big one. So big in fact, that we have decided to split it in half and give you the second part next week. This week, Connor, Alex, and Sean take you through the alphabet soup of techniques that make up the bed rock of R2P's style of treatment. As always, our goal is to make this podcast as digestible and conversational as possible for the optimal consumption of our fellow students. On this episode, you will hear a lot from Sean as he takes us through McKenzie, Neurodynamics, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), as well as a bit from Alex and Connor. They give us the much needed context on the neurocentric approach as well as where dermal traction method fits into it. Next week, we will be releasing the second half of this conversation where we dive deep into the worlds of Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS). Enjoy the show!
