420 case study: investing for kids, building a portfolio of ETFs, to move out of home at 24 or not + more
Glen and John answer your questions! This episode looks at:👉🏽I’m wanting to invest on behalf of my two kids but I want it to be fair so I’m looking for somewhere that will let me have two accounts where I can purchase the same shares – any suggestions?👉🏻I have an investment property already, however still living at my parents place at the moment. I’m 24 I wanted to move out sometime soon and live with my partner and rent somewhere closer to the city. Do you think I will regret renting or should i stay at my parents house and keep saving my money for another investment?👉🏿When building a portfolio of ETFs, do you think it is important to consider investment providers too? E.g. I have a couple of BetaShares ETFs. I am looking to purchase a 3rd ETF, and while looking to diversify assets, is it important to diversify investment companies too. Maybe I should look at Vanguard or another? I like to keep my investing tidy, and like the idea of staying with one provider of ETFs. But my thoughts are, what if BetaShares go bust?👉My partner has received an email from our accountant saying that THEY made a mistake with our tax return last year and inputting the incorrect number and we now owe $4500. They said they will take on any fees if the ATO come knocking and also refund our accountant fee. But we are wondering if there is anything else we can do? Or any advice?Grabs your tix for our m3 tour kicking off this week - yeehaw: https://www.sortyourmoneyout.com/tourHere's the meaningful money cards Glen and John had a crack with at the start of this episode: https://www.sortyourmoneyout.com/shop/meaningful-money-cardsHere’s the my millennial money express episode about modern portfolio theory: https://player.whooshkaa.com/episode?id=823906Get $20 off The Glen James Spending Plan using the code "MAGIC".
