As the Israel-Hamas war approaches 50 days, we are speaking with voices from both sides of the war to gain insight into the realities on the ground. In this episode, Mosheh speaks with Khalil Sayegh. He was born and raised in Gaza, then lived in the West Bank, and is now in the US, where he recently got his master's degree from American University. His family is currently seeking refuge in a church in northern Gaza.Sayegh speaks candidly about the war, growing up as a Christian in Gaza, life under Hamas, why they are an obstacle for peace and the daily realities for Palestinians. It has been more than a month and a half since Hamas terrorists abducted more than 240 hostages, including babies and the elderly. As Israel and Hamas negotiate the release of some of the hostages, Mo News speaks to two family members of those currently being held in Gaza.  They tell us about their family members, what life is like for a hostage who was released, the abductions and what the last 46 days have been like.
