One year after the disastrous withdrawal from Kabul, we bring you perspective from former CIA Acting Director Michael Morell. He helped lead the fight against terrorism in the region and around the world for more than a decade, including the operation to kill Osama Bin Laden. Morell joins Mosheh for a conversation to discuss why he is concerned about al Qaeda’s resurgence, how the US withdrawal from Afghanistan has impacted the war on terror, and how the US needs to approach the fight moving forward. He is the only person who was with President Bush on 9/11 AND President Obama on May 2, 2011, when the operation to kill Bin Laden was launched. How close are we to a potential military conflict between China and Taiwan? Tensions are high with the Chinese conducting live weapons drills and practicing a potential invasion. It all comes in the aftermath of US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan.  Former CIA Acting Director Michael Morell joins Mosheh for a conversation to discuss why he is extremely concerned about a Chinese invasion in the coming years, the role the US might play, the state of the US-China relationship and why the Pelosi visit may have been a major mistake.  Morell spent more than 30 years in the CIA, serving as Deputy Director and twice as Acting Director.
