122: Nourishing Your Soul: Pt 2
This week we are going to look at another God-created need that allows us to connect with Him.
All throughout our lives, we have moments of belonging or not belonging. We all have a deep need and desire to belong. That hunger to belong is actually God-given! The question “Where do I belong and who do I belong to?” is a big deal! This question can haunt us if we listen to what the world is saying about what it means to belong. But this hunger also has core truths that God wants to nourish you with. First and foremost you were made to belong to your Creator.

120: Automating the Small Stuff
All the information we hold onto is limited. Your brain can only hold onto so much. The best way to store memory is to put it into a habit such as automatic behavior. In this week’s episode we’ll be discussing how to automate the small stuff.
Decision fatigue means when you’re making decisions over and over to the point where you actually wear out your deliberate system. It’s important to automate basic things so you can use your brain energy on more important things.
Are there things or behaviors that you do every single day that you can automate?

117: Beating Procrastination: Pt 1
We all procrastinate. What we often do is jam the things we don’t want to do for tomorrow. We find ourselves putting things that are important to the side for the things that we want to do. In this episode we’ll be discussing how to beat procrastination.
Present bias means what’s happening in the present has more weight than what is happening in the future. Sometimes it’s hard to sacrifice for the now for the benefit of the later. It’s helpful to make healthy decisions by considering how you are going to feel about yourself in a year from now.

115: How to Give Great Feedback
How do we give feedback without putting the other person’s brain into defense mode? Our brain often goes into fight, flight or freeze and the goal in all of this is to keep our brain in discovery mode for us to actually implement changes. When we say “yes, but” your brain tends to focus on the “but” part and believes that the person is standing opposed from you. In this week’s episode, we’ll be discussing how to give feedback that is brain friendly by using the “Yes And” technique.
