Gala
Dennis discusses his interview with Jordan Peterson at the PragerU Gala Saturday night. Do liberals and leftist even know who Jordan Peterson is? Does any leftist intellectual draw the crowds Peterson does?... Republicans had very mixed success electing people to local school boards. Not good news. The party needs to deal with this issue… British Airways pilots can now wear lipstick and carry a purse. Dennis & Julie: The Tyranny of Marks-ism
Dennis and Julie delve into loneliness and finding kindred spirits. Dennis discusses his trip to Denmark. Julie shares her transition from college to professional life. How many books have you read since being in school? The best way to solve loneliness in life is find good people... it's more important than being surrounded by lots of people. Finding meaning in life is more important than amusing one's self. Amusement is the enemy of deepness. Dennis has the revelation that he is an "explainer" in life. Your strength is also your weak point. The key is to strengthen your weaknesses and not rely on your strength. Parenting matters... there is no perfect way to parent... you must do what's right. Trying to make your kids happy or trying to be loved at all times... is not right. Acknowledging your "dark side" and not acting on it... is a key to happiness. Veterans Day
Dennis reflects on Veterans Day… The Left believes we should let “experts” tell us how to live. It begins with education… A trans person who is, shall we say, quite heavy wins a pre-Miss America beauty contest in New Hampshire… Don’t compare America to utopia… “Experts” are saying that we should bring back face masks to the classroom — to prevent the flu. Sick. Dennis returns to a major happiness theme. A key to happiness is to find kindred spirits. We all need them to get through life. Per usual, callers set the agenda. Issues raised include: You are successful but what about other people who are trying and have low expectations; My son was on the Stand with Israel tour and he met the love of his life; What do you think happened to Columbia University since the 1980's; I was not able to see my grandfather during the lockdowns! He passed away in 2021; Honoring your parents when you don't share the same values Thanks for listening to the Daily Dennis Prager Podcast. Truth and Beauty
The existential threat to America does not come from fossil fuel, it comes from the Left. The only way to save the country is to make a persuasive case for Judeo-Christian values of truth, justice, goodness, and beauty… Dennis talks to Elaine Parker, Chief Communications Officer for Jobs Creators Network… The more data we have, the more it appears Sweden had the best Covid policy. Dennis talks to Steve Cortes, former CNN political analyst and advisor to President Trump. Where did Republicans go wrong on Tuesday? Why did they underperform? What do they need to do to regain their momentum? Michael Walsh, screenwriter, best-selling author and political commentator. Former music critic for Time. His new book is Against the Great Reset: Eighteen Theses Contra the New World Order… Why did abortion play such a big role in Tuesday’s election? How did the polls miss it? Oregonians and New Yorkers had a chance to make a statement against soft-on-crime Democrats. They blew it. Thanks for listening to the Daily Dennis Prager Podcast. Barely Red
The Republicans went into last night very optimistic; they left depressed. The “Red Wave” didn’t happen… We are truly divided nation. If you want to live in a place with conservative values, you have to live in a red state. We live in the States of America. We are not united… Abortion played a much bigger role in yesterday’s election than most polls anticipated… Dennis talks to Julie Kelly, columnist for American Greatness. Republicans assumed that Independents and some Democrats would turn to Republican candidates. The Democrats have so messed up our cities and now our nation in the last two years, it seemed like Republicans would have their moment. They didn’t get it. Election Day
Mark Davis guest hosts for Dennis… Does the future of the country rest on this election? Why in the most technically sophisticated country in the history of the world does it take days and maybe weeks to get election results?... If Trump decides to run for President, will any Republican challenge him? Callers have thoughts. The Republicans clearly have a chance to score a major victory today, but the polls tell us that every important race is going to be close. If they are and its days or weeks before we get the results, will Americans’ faith in the process be irreparably shaken? The only way to be sure of victory is for Republicans to win decisively, to overwhelm any attempts the other side might try to “alter” the final tally… What issues have the Dems been running on? Great economy? Low crime? They have nothing. Maybe that’s why they’ve been hysterically screaming democracy will end if conservatives win… Is abortion going to turn out to be a big voting issue for Democrats or a dud? Fearing Freedom
Carl Jackson guest hosts for Dennis… Why do we fear freedom? Carl confronts this perplexing question. Isn’t freedom what all human beings aspire to? The answer is: only if they are able to accept responsibility for their actions. Many people shrink from that. The Lockdown Left wants us to forgive and forget. “We all made mistakes at the height of the Covid threat. We’re sorry. Now let’s move on.” No way. It wasn’t one lie, it was dozens. People lost businesses; their life’s work destroyed. Kids were kept from schools for no good reason. We need a full accounting of what happened, who was involved and why. Only then will we consider forgiveness. Crime is out of control across the country, but especially in big cities, all run by Democrats… City residents are angry, unhappy and afraid. The Democrats remain clueless. They won’t change their soft-on-crime policies. Will they pay a price at the polls on Tuesday? Thanks for listening to the Daily Dennis Prager Podcast.
