Episode 164 | Ed Sheeran vs. Marvin Gaye: Let’s Get It On
It's big Taurus season. Last week we celebrated Baisley’s b-day and this Friday we’ll celebrate Rory turning the year Jesus died/Larry Bird year. Rory doesn’t know it yet, but we have a surprise party planned for him (it’s okay, he doesn’t read the descriptions). Anyway, Mal was bumping knees court-side with Jack Harlow at the Knicks game. Sadly, only Jack was fortunate enough to have Kyle Lowry jump on his lap. Let’s stay on Jack (pause) we give our review of his album and then discuss him self-proclaiming as the “hardest whiteboy in rap.” Mal reverts back to last week’s episode and calls Rory out for his Doja/J Cole take. In other music news, Ed Sheeran is facing a lawsuit against Marvin Gaye’s estate. Meanwhile false rumors about Coi Leray and Latto surface over the weekend from the Something in The Water Festival. This leads to a heated discussion about Cardi B and her Grammy win / her career as an artist. Tune in as the guys discuss all of this, as well as, DaBaby remaining canceled, the NBA Playoffs (we rank our top 5) + more! Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 163 | Do Doja Cat & Jack Harlow Know Their Audience?
Happy Friday to all you ghetto superstars. We start by discussing the deeper, darker criminal link between The Fugees and our government. Staying on music, we speculate why Jack Harlow is deciding to put an album out now with no promo. This leads to a deeper discussion about Doja Cat’s speculative rap album. While they figure out how to shape their careers, Kendrick is in full stride after grossing the highest rap tour. Then we put our conspiracy cap on after Tucker Carlson’s response video. Is he still working with Fox? In sad news we lost a daytime tv legend, Jerry Springer. We reminisce on some of the craziest moments in his show’s history. Like setting up the KKK to get in a fight. Speaking of a set up, Vlad has a new show with Compton Cops and Rory offers an interesting take. Tune in as the guys discuss all of this, as well as, Emmett Till’s accuser finally taking a dirt nap, the Knicks advancing to the second round, + more! Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 162 | The Fired Broadcast with Tucker Carlson & Don Lemon
Well it’s the beginning of the week, and this podcast is now your only source for accurate news after both Don Lemon and Tucker Carlson have been fired. Over the weekend Demaris had a non-vip concert experience with a bumpy bathroom experience. Speaking of bumps, we react to Usher saying he’d do a Super Bowl Halftime show. Weekend 2 at Coachella has finally come to a close (sans Frank) and Latto used her performance to address some beef. Staying on beef, Jim Jones continues to pester Pusha T in a recent interview which prompts a subtle response from Pusha. We continue to reminisce about past beef which moves Rory (pause). Julian drops another random celebrity interaction, while 11-year-old Rory annoyed Benzino at a Miami Heat game. Tune in as the guys discuss all of this, as well as the Knicks moving one game closer to the second round, Tank vs. Ryan Garcia, + more! Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 161 | The End Of Frank Ocean?
Happy Friday! We’re back for a tumultuous episode as we head into the weekend. Out the gate we press Demaris about why women get to steal every holiday. We find out how Mal would fare as a step-dad (it’s not good). We’re back to giving Frank Ocean his flowers as the new CEO of the Bare Minumum Boys Club (BMF). While Frank was disappointing his fans, Chance The Rapper was upsetting his household. Did he have a hall pass in Jamaica for Carnival? Mal reacts to Lil Uzi’s alter ego, Leslie (that’s not hip-hop). Meanwhile, we continue to see Jonathan Majors' career spiral towards Tubi. Mal introduces an interesting conspiracy regarding the Ralph Yarl shooting and Shaun King’s involvement. Rory warns of a satellite crashing into Earth (if you’re reading this congrats you dodged the debris). Tune in as the guys discuss all of this, as well as Bud Light's revenue loss (cue Rory and Julian’s redneck voices), a deep analysis of an odd dream Demaris had, why we should encourage the death penalty, + more! Episode 160 | Rory is Drake’s Munch
We apologize in advance for Rory’s behavior throughout this episode. We start by supporting the union of Nicki and Ice Spice, but also predict how long it’ll last. This past Sunday, Rory, Mal, and Julian went to the Apollo to see Lil Wayne. Rather quickly we learned that Mal really isn’t a Wayne fan (argument ensues). In other disappointing concert news, Frank Ocean left everyone at Coachella upset after many technical problems and turning his set into karaoke. Speaking of karaoke, is it hip-hop for Usher to give 21 Savage a mic to sing? Even worse, is it hip-hop for Rory to DM Drake laughing emojis and never get a response? Friendships tend to come to a close which is also the case for Ja Rule and Billy McFarland. Did you hear about the woman that claimed to have hooked up with 6 guys a day for a week? This leads into a conversation about the double standard between men and women and of course high school bleachers get involved. Tune in as the guys discuss all of this, as well as, $200k in dimes getting stolen, Netflix’s ‘Beef’, Knicks/Lakers playoff wins, + more! Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 159 | Who Keeps Booking A$AP Rocky?
Happy Friday to everyone that joined the Bare Minumum Club. Today is the last day the shirts will be available. Get yours before the sale ends! Now let’s talk about Coachella. Who keeps booking A$AP Rocky as a headliner? Let’s stay on music and discuss the new albums from Daniel Caesar & Rae Sremmurd. Is Daniel Caesar still canceled and why’d he call out Rory like that? and the Dalai Lama still on the loose? Speaking of tongue sucking, Nick Cannon says he should have his next child with Taylor Swift. Since the simulation seems to be simulating let’s talk about how men are getting fake abs (even some of your favorite artists). Meanwhile, Woah Vicky calls out Lil Nas X for faking his sexuality (the irony). *Trigger Warning* we discuss how a man was moved to commit suicide after chatting with an AI bot. Tune in as the guys discuss all of this, as well as, the downfall of CNN+, Justin Timberlake making black people music again, new shows to watch, + more! Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 158 | Bare Minumum Boys
The Bare Minumum Boys are back to business. Rory and Mal directly address the cat burglar with (once again) the truth. After they set the record straight we get to the funnies. Religion has perfected the tax write off and pedo behavior. Do you, or have you, ever kissed your parents on the mouth? Speaking of predatory spaces, Hulu is making a Freaknik doc and aunties across the country are getting ahead of the footage. We then review Drake’s new track and offer reasoning on why this song isn’t it. The music conversation continues with an interesting discussion around 6lack and Chloe’s low first week numbers. Finally, we end with sports. Telfon Donnie was at UFC 287, which had Mal fired up, while the Knicks playoff run begins next week. Tune in as the BMB’s manage to discuss all of this + more without mic stands! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoicesSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Episode 157 | Teflon Don And The Guys Are Doing Time
Don’t act like you didn’t listen to Linkin Park. Let’s jump right into music and start with Summer Jam. We discuss the lineup and the danger of the new location. This conversation leads to a deeper analysis of female rappers and what type of artists get pushed. Then we discuss the double-standard surrounding being bi-curious. In political news, Mal’s favorite Big T has officially been indicted. Will he remain ten toes? Or will he snitch? Insert our response to another reddit thread. Eventually, we return to the ongoing LSU saga. Would you go to the white house? Tune in as the guys discuss this, as well as why Eddin eats Shake Shack at the airport, Rory getting gray hair, another Mal c*vid theory + more! Learn more about your ad choices. Episode 156 | Media Attacks Itself For Being Racist
Mal is still committing to Ramadan while Rory just discovered lent is coming to an end, which retroactively means he gave up lent for lent. Meanwhile, Eddin reunited with Whoreible Decisions and shared Demaris’s rose party, while Julian went to another Knicks game. Needless to say, none of us were at Dreamville. In Raleigh, Drake gave J Cole his flowers and dedicated a song to him so we ask which song the guys would sing for each other. If they’re not up to sing they could always use AI. Did you watch the Women’s National Championship game? Such as most conversations go, this great basketball was overshadowed by a media blitz of racial double standards. Rory brings up an interesting angle that points the finger back at the media as the culprit. Is it tricking if you pay for someone’s divorce? And should it be socially acceptable to micro-dose crack? Tune in as the guys discuss all of this + more! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoicesSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Episode 155 | Why Lil Wayne Is Overrated
Happy Friday! Do you have a Jazz crew? Julian went to the Blue Note, which led to more jokes from everyone. We stay on music and discuss DJ Drama’s album release. Then Mal shares how he saw Lil Nas X gliding at the airport. Unfortunately, but to no surprise, there has been another mass shooting (129th of the year). The team offers their opinions on this ongoing issue. We transition back to the funnies with Rory’s wild April Fool’s story. Rory continues to share the moment he knew it was time to stop playing basketball. We have a Jonathan Majors update (hint: those texts didn’t help) We end today’s episode with an interesting music conversation that involves LL Cool J, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Fab. Tune in as the guys discuss all the above + more! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoicesSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
