In a long anticipated decision, the Supreme Court of the United States rules 5-4 to strike down a Louisiana law that required the unimaginable: that abortionists must have admitting privileges at a local hospital just like EVERY OTHER ambulatory surgical center in the state! If abortion was truly about “healthcare,” this law would have never been challenged by abortion activists. The court’s ruling in June Medical v. Russo says the quiet part out loud. The Tennessee and Mississippi Senate both pass pro-life legislation banning abortions based on sex, race, or disabilities, giving the partisans of abortion two options: Either embrace the pro-life ethic or defend racism and eugenics. A Colorado father won’t be charged with child abuse after shooting his pregnant wife and severely maiming his child because the Colorado Supreme Court excluded pre-born babies from child abuse protections. Meanwhile in Missouri, a Satanist loses her lawsuit, claiming that the state’s abortion-consent law which requires pregnant women to be given a booklet on embryology and be given an ultrasound, violates her religious beliefs that her body is inviolable and subject to her will alone. A new documentary from a leftist filmmaker claims that Norma McCorvey (i.e. Jane Roe, the plaintiff in Roe v. Wade) made a deathbed confession that she faked her pro-life conversion and was paid by Christians to pretend to be pro-life. Conveniently, we can’t ask Norma because she has been dead for three years and nobody but the filmmakers have the full unedited interview. The Georgia supreme court rules that a father demanding parental rights for his child that is being adopted, forfeited those rights when he offered to pay to abort the child.
