All three of these things are closely related to one another and it made for an incredibly fascinating conversation. This week the fellas chat with Ari about how he got involved with the unorthodox method of sperm donation outside of the typical method of sperm bank donation. It all started with a Craigslist ad that evolved from word of mouth into Facebook groups and beyond. Ari Nagel has more children than one would know what to do with but he's committed to providing folks with an opportunity to build a family and be a part of that family in whatever capacity they see fit. Danie was on a second date that seemed to be going well. Next logical step, head back to her place. On her drive home she lost control of her car and flipped off of the highway, leaving her dazed and very confused. Danie suffered from a rather traumatic concussion which led to a long road to recovery. Memory loss, dizziness and vomiting were just the beginning. Danie walks the fellas through her journey of navigating the rocky road of healing from a brutal accident which includes a diagnosis of Post Concussion Syndrome, PTSD and anxiety.

Janja Lalich, Ph.D., Professor Emerita of Sociology, is an international authority on cults and coercion. Researcher, author, and educator, she specializes in recruitment, indoctrination, and methods of influence and control. She is a cult survivor herself and has been studying the psychology of controversial groups for over 35 years. She joins the fellas to go in depth about the real meaning of charisma, the stigmatization of former cult members, trauma effects and recovery and of course how her own experience in surviving a cult has played a role in her years long study into something so important.

We can't begin to describe how sweet of a human Collin Clowes is and boy oh boy has he been through hell and back. At only 17 years old, living in a small township in Northern Ontario, Colin began vomiting totally bonkers amounts of blood. He was rushed to the ER and they determined things were... bad. He needed to be airlifted to Toronto. They concluded that he was suffering from internal bleeding and mysteriously his liver was shutting down. The cause for the liver disease was never revealed but one thing was for sure, this sweet muffin of a man needed a new liver and that is where his sister came to the rescue. This week Colin takes the fellas on a journey of hardship, loss, grief and struggle but shows them that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
