I have presented at numerous international conferences alongside renowned plant-based advocates such as Dr Michael Greger, Dr Michael Klaper, Dietician Brenda Davis, Dr Kim Williams, and Dr Neal Barnard. I am an Ambassador for Plant-Based Health Professionals UK, a not-for-profit group which educates the public, health professionals, and policy makers on the incredible health benefits of a plant-based diet.
Certified in both Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine, I completed my specialist training in Ireland and Oxford. I have a specialist interest in the role of diet in the prevention and treatment of digestive diseases. A member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, London, I have published several influential research papers in the field of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Originally from County Cork in Ireland, I now live with my family in Devon, UK and work as a full-time NHS Consultant.

I am on a mission to educate and empower women, athletes and exercise professionals working with women, everywhere, on safe, effective and enjoyable exercise for pregnancy and motherhood.
I know that postpartum is forever & that ALL Mums matter, regardless of how long you’ve been in the ‘hood for.
I believe in striving for a balanced approach to healthy, active living – for long term PHYSICAL and MENTAL well-being and results. A former semi professional rugby player for the Queensland and Sydney Rugby Leagues and current owner of CrossFit Mode in Adelaide, South Australia, Newbury took 24th in his rookie Games appearance.
