"Leo" is only the second animated film from Happy Madison Productions following "Eight Crazy Nights." It has garnered positive reviews for its animation, comedy, voice-acting, and music and stars the voice talents of Adam Sandler, Bill Burr, and Cecily Strong. "Concrete Utopia" had its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for its strong storytelling of class struggle, its powerful performances from its ensemble cast, and the epic-scaled production design showcasing Seoul in the aftermath of an earthquake that devastates the entire city except for one high-rise apartment building. Director and co-writer Um Tae-hwa was kind enough to spend a few minutes speaking with us about his work on the film, which South Korea has selected as their official selection for Best International Feature at the 96th Academy Awards. Finland has selected the MUBI film as their official selection for Best International Feature at the 96th Academy Awards, and it is now playing in limited release. "Rustin" had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, where it received strong reviews for Colman Domingo's captivating, charismatic, and empathetic performance as civil rights activist Bayard Rustin.
