Send us Fan MailIt seems like the alternative to all the arguing, character attacks, protesting, and instant self-gratification we see in our culture as believers in Christ is to shut it down, go into hiding and batten down the hatches until Jesus returns. That I believe is the wrong approach. The Bible offers us an alternative way to live and it is found in 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12. In these two verse Christians can find a noble way to live their life and still share the mission and message of the Kingdom of Heaven. Send us Fan MailIt appears to me that somewhere along the way Christians, Churches and Denominations decided we would excel in division rather than multiplication. Instead of focusing on making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit we would rather develop a holy huddle with our own like-minded individuals. We realized that it was safer to keep others at a distance and when an opportunity for fellowship occurred, we would focus on our differences rather than what unites us.  There is a place for creeds, confessions, denominations and all the other “isms” that we have come up with, but they should never get in the way of God’s Word and reaching the lost. Send us Fan MailFor many men the idea of getting into the Bible on a regular basis to grow and connect with God is completely foreign or something reserved for the religious. Oftentimes this is more of a challenge than it should be because those who have come before us have not shown us the way. We can change this. We need to stop looking at the Bible as some arduous task that needs to be completed to keep us from feeling guilty, rather a time to connect with and Worship God. On today's podcast I am going to give you three things to think about that will help you establish and maintain a personal time of worship each day. To be changed by the Word of God we must be men who are willing to drive into the Word of God. It is not as difficult as you may believe, you just need to get started today.
