Episode 613: A Community of Trauma Thrivers with Lou Lebentz

Lou Lebentz has spent nearly twenty years of her life as a therapist and has done a lot of work in the areas of addiction, eating disorders and trauma. She is currently in the process of writing an online program for people who have experienced trauma, mostly because, as she says “I don’t believe there are enough affordable options out there and trauma is an area that’s all too apparent in today’s society.”Lou wants to help in this area because after much training and development, she believes she has some valuable insights both personally and professionally to share, and her long term hope is that some of them may be helpful on a wider scale. My passion has always been to give some of the tools I’ve learnt during my near two decades as a clinician and self explorer to other people to help them on their path. My own journey of recovery from mental health issues, addiction and childhood trauma was character building and has given me a fair bit of knowledge and personal experience to impart.Having been there myself, my joy is in helping others to release their “old stuff” and dissolve the blocks and limiting beliefs, often taken on during their childhood or teenage years that are holding them back.In This EpisodeLou’s websiteTrauma ThriversNLPThe Invisible Lion: Flatpack Instructions For Life, Benjamin FrySolutions To Trauma ebook, Lou LebentzBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-trauma-therapist--5739761/support.---Thank you for listening! If you want to support the show, I've got three options and every bit helps.$5.00 PayPalhttps://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/NPKS32G8KVSN2$10.00 PayPalhttps://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/495AMDFXQFC3L$15.00 PayPalhttps://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/M7V5RREUKVD8JThank you to our Sponsors: Jane App - use code GUY1MO at https://jane.app (https://jane.app/book_a_demo)

Episode 608: How The Unconscious Heals Trauma with Dr. Melanie Salmon

Melanie Salmon is a medical doctor, gestalt psychotherapist, trauma specialist and teacher, and she’s committed her life to the exploration and practice of healing.During her 40-years in medicine, Melanie became increasingly frustrated with the limited ability for pharmaceutical drugs to treat the cause of health issues including psycho-emotional conditions in her patients. To Melanie, it became clear that these problems were related to a dysfunctional nervous system caused by unresolved and unhealed trauma. This understanding led her to leave medicine to seek out a better way.In 2008 she found it. Combining the best from many modalities including Gestalt psychotherapy, neuroscience, and epigenetics – drawing inspiration from both the traditional and modern – Dr Salmon created Quantum Energy Coaching (QEC), revolutionizing the way we approach healing. A simple, yet profoundly effective method that works with the subconscious mind, QEC is a clinically usable tool that heals the effects of past trauma and changes limiting beliefs rapidly and safely. In This EpisodeDr. Salmon’s websiteBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-trauma-therapist--5739761/support.---Thank you for listening! If you want to support the show, I've got three options and every bit helps.$5.00 PayPalhttps://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/NPKS32G8KVSN2$10.00 PayPalhttps://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/495AMDFXQFC3L$15.00 PayPalhttps://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/M7V5RREUKVD8JThank you to our Sponsors: Jane App - use code GUY1MO at https://jane.app (https://jane.app/book_a_demo)
