Among the companies he's worked with are Moto Gold, which was successfully sold to Randgold, and Alphamin, which is to this day one of the world's most important tin producers. Along the way he's built up considerable expertise in-country, which he is now deploying to the benefit of his latest venture, Rome Resources. Klaus tells us what it's like to work in the DRC, what the pitfalls and opportunities are, and he dispels some of the myths about the country.

More progress at Cadence Minerals' Amapa iron ore project in Brazil. it's a giant project, but the plan is to develop it in stages, and potentially to bring in a partner to help. Kiran Morzaria, Cadence's chief executive joins Vox to tell us how the project sits at the moment, andd what happens next.
