Lastly, I give you 5 ways to take the first step toward more meaningful connections starting today. If you feel like you need to find “your people”, this episode is for you. Links Mentioned:Save $50 on my Bubbles & Blueprints WorkshopGet on the Shameless Mom Con 2020 Wait ListThank you to our sponsors:Instacart: Get your groceries delivered to your door! Save $10 off your first order at Instacart or on the Instacart mobile app when you use the promo code SHAMELESS10 at checkout.Free fly apparel: You can get 20% off when you visit Free Fly Apparel and use promo code SHAMELESS. 335: 7 Ways to RISE UP in Work and Life

One of the themes I’ve been seeing repeatedly in our community recently is around feeling stuck in roles that feel out of alignment with our core values. This shows up in our jobs when we see that companies we work for don’t truly stand behind their mission statements. This happens in our families when we see our siblings, parents or in-laws not acting in high integrity. This happens in our friendships when we see the women around us judging and gossiping and putting other women down. This is hard to watch and even harder to be a part of when we feel we are right in the middle of it all.  It often feels like a massive breach of our own integrity - which feels confusing and really conflicting. I want to challenge you to step back from these situations for a moment to get a better view of what’s going on and consider the ways you can RISE UP when you’re in the middle of situations which feel our of integrity and out of alignment with your personal and professional core values. Here are 7 ways to start to RISE UP in work and life: Position yourself as a leader Unapologetically own your strengths, gifts, and ZOG Unapologetically own what you suck at Know what you stand for Know what you don’t stand for Know the difference between tattling and documenting/reporting Be humble and gracious, while still standing in your power (rather than shrinking in gratitude) Listen in to this full episode to hear the deep dive on these 7 techniques. Links Mentioned:Get on the WaitList for Shameless Mom Con 2020Thank you to our sponsors: Katie the Cookie Bee: Katie the Cookie Bee Third Love: To find the perfect fitting bra and get 15% off your first purchase got to Third Love Bioclarity: So go to Bioclarity and get 40% off skincare routines PLUS an additional 15% off EVERYTHING on their website when you use my code SHAMELESS at checkout. 329: 4 Gifts Of Imperfect Action

Dear Perfectionist Friend,I SEE you.I see you stuck in your mess. I see you holding all those dreams, but crippled by analysis paralysis every time you think about taking the next step. I see you waiting until just the right time to take the next right step - yet never actually finding just the right time. I see you wanting more and feeling nervous, sometimes even terrified, about going after more. I see you worrying about what others might think if you flop. I see you anxiously stuffing your dreams into deep hiding places because you think you might fail. If you want to know how I can see you so clearly, it’s because I AM you. I know what it’s like to desire perfection so deeply you cannot make a decision or take any action - because... FEAR. I know what it’s like to spend inordinate amounts of mental energy on a decision because you think making the wrong decision could ruin everything.I know what it’s like to stay stuck in your head full of worry and doubt, while parading through the world with a big cheesy grin that screams, “I’m fine. I’m even better than fine. I’m GREAT. #EVERYDAMNDAY. SO GREAT!” - but actually, feel not great at all. Probably the most valuable lesson I’ve learned in motherhood and entrepreneurship is that perfect sucks. In fact, perfect is paralyzing. And imperfect action is ridiculously liberating. If you fancy yourself a perfectionistic kinda gal, this episode will open your eyes in all the best ways. Listen in - maybe more than once. And take notes on the beautiful, life-changing gifts of imperfect action.Thank you to our sponsors: BruMate: Right now, Brumate is giving my listeners a special discount of 15% off your first order when you go to www.brumate.com and use our code SHAMELESS, that's BruMate.
