Road safety campaigners say more enforcement is needed, but just how many Gardaí are policing our roads? Last year, Newstalk revealed that Gardaí missed their target of 75 new Roads Policing Gardaí in 2024, and we can now reveal they’ve missed their new target of 150 members going into the unit in 2025. To discuss this all further was Newstalk’s Alex Rowley.
