Farmer Tom Niland “can now rest in peace,” his family said, after three men were sentenced yesterday to between 14 and 15 years in prison for his unlawful killing. The 75-year-old died on September 30th, 2023, 20 months after suffering a violent attack in his west Sligo home on January 18th, 2022. New school programme to address rising body image issues
Bodywhys has launched a new wellbeing programme to address the rising body image and eating disorder concerns in Irish secondary schools. A survey from the charity found that 45 per cent of teachers are aware of students in their classes who are experiencing an eating disorder.
