Breast cancer diagnoses increase 26% in women under-50
The number of women aged 20–49 diagnosed with breast cancer has risen by over a quarter in the past decade, according to new figures from the National Cancer Registry of Ireland. The Marie Keating Foundation has launched a new awareness campaign urging women, especially those outside the screening age, to check their breasts regularly for any changes.
