It’s happening at levels we haven’t seen since the 1940s. Drew wonders if there’s something deeper going on. Are today’s young adults sticking around home because it’s just too cozy and safe? And are parents maybe making it a little too easy for them to stay?    Dave Durand's Take    To get to the bottom of this, Drew brings in Dave Durand, a guy who knows a thing or two about raising kids. Dave thinks there's a fine line between helping out and holding them back. They point out that parents might be overprotecting their kids, doing so much for them that they miss out on important life lessons—like how to fail and bounce back. This could be why we’re seeing so much anxiety among young folks today.   Dave talks about how he handled things with his own kids. His approach? Clear expectations: once you’re 18, it’s time to start adulting—whether that means moving out or going to college. It’s all about getting them ready for the real world.    What’s the Bigger Picture Here?    Drew and Dave also chat about what this trend might mean for the future of families, communities, and even the Church. If young people are putting off adulthood, what does that mean for all of us down the line?
