The Hiring Formula for Success with Lou Adler
The Hiring Formula for Success with Lou Adler is where it’s at. Lou Adler is The Sherlock Holmes of Recruitment, CEO, and founder of The Adler Group – a consulting and training firm helping companies implement "Win-Win Hiring" programs using his Performance-based Hiring℠ system for finding and hiring exceptional talent. Lou got a good whiff of corporate BS and turned the recruitment industry on its head. He’s been a nuclear missiles engineer, ran a manufacturing company, financial analyst for the 37th largest company in the world, director of business operations for the first handheld calculator company, and GM for an automotive manufacturer. Lou realized that the hiring process was broken so he invented what’s now famously known as the ‘Performance-based Hiring' model. With over 40 years in the recruiting industry, Lou's company ‘The Adler Group’ has trained over 40,000 hiring managers and placed over 1500 executives for many of the fastest-growing companies with clients including Disney, General Dynamics and Paycom.Lou is the author of “The Essential guide for Hiring and getting Hired” and the Amazon Top Ten best-seller “Hire with your Head - Performance-based hiring to build outstanding diverse teams” which has been translated into multiple languages including Korean, Japanese and Chinese.Visit him online at - https://www.louadlergroup.com Connect with Lou on LinkedIn here - https://www.linkedin.com/in/louadler/ Purchase your Copy of Lou’s Book here - https://amzn.to/3pdCJg9 ----Full Transcript, Quote Cards, and a Show Summary are available here: https://www.jjlaughlin.com/blogSend me a personal text message - If you're interested in booking me for a keynote or workshop, contact Caroline at caroline@jjlaughlin.comSupport the show

Ruari Fairbairns Recap: Leadership & Alcohol
Leadership & Alcohol with Ruari Fairbairns. This week I was excited to sit down and talk to the co-founder and CEO of the amazing organisation - One Year No Beer, Ruari Fairbairns. This organisation is very special to me. I have been alcohol free for the past 2 years, and OYNB was the challenge that set me on this amazing path. I have achieved things I never knew I would over these past two years, saved a ton of money and lost quite a bit of weight. Being alcohol free is something I am incredibly passionate about, and I have OYNB to thank, in part, for this! OYNB was launched in 2016 by Ruari and his friend - Andy. They wanted to challenge themselves to a year without alcohol, and quickly learnt that it was a complete game changer for them! They then came up with the concept for OYNB to encourage others to take on this challenge and connect with like-minded individuals who were doing the same thing.Ruari shared his story in this episode, as well as the inspiration behind OYNB. He shares with us why and how taking a tactical break from alcohol for a while could be the best thing you do for yourself!I cannot recommend this challenge enough. It has changed my life and my relationship with alcohol. Please share this episode with anyone you know who might benefit from listening to it!
