FINALLY: ARREST IN MURDER OF YOUNG MOM CRYSTAL ROGERS
It's been eight years since Crystal Roger went missing. Her then-boyfriend, Brooks Houck, immediately became the main suspect. The mom of five was last seen at Houck's home. Rogers' car was found abandoned with a flat tire on the Bluegrass Parkway two days later. Her keys, phone, and purse were inside the vehicle. Houck was interviewed, but not arrested. Houck has been charged with murder and tampering with evidence. The details of why, however, remain sealed until his arraignment. Houck's bond has been set at $10 million cash. This is the second arrest related to Crystal Rogers' disappearance. 32-year-old Joseph L. Lawson was charged with conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with physical evidence in the case. Lawson has pleaded not guilty. His connection to this case is not yet known, but Lawson's father worked for Houck. Rogers’ body has not been found. Loving Mom Bludgeoned With Kitchen Frying Pan, STABBED 30 TIMES
A college secret is said to be the motive behind the murder of an Ohio Mom. Brenda Powell was bludgeoned with a frying pan and then stabbed more than 30 times. Daughter Sydney Powell, 19 at the time, was charged with murder. Prosecutors claimed Sydney Powell did not tell her parents that she was suspended from Mount Union University months earlier for poor academics. Brenda Powell was on the phone with college officials when her daughter struck. Defense experts argued that Sydney Powell suffered a psychotic break when she killed her mother. Three experts found she was schizophrenic and could not discern right from wrong. Experts for the prosecution asserted Powell had mental health issues, but was not insane when she committed the crime. Joining Nancy Grace Today: Brian Stano - Summit County Assistant Prosecutor and Lead Prosecutor on the Sydney/Brenda Powell Homicide Case Dr. Carla Manly - Clinical Psychologist, Author: “Date Smart: Transform Your Relationships & Love Fearlessly” Lt. Did GLAM 'RUSSIAN' SWINGER take out HIT ON HUBBY?
Tatyana Remley stands charged with soliciting someone to kill her husband. Remley approaches a friend with an offer of $2 million dollars to end her estranged husband's life. The friend went to police, who set up a sting. The couple is in the midst of a divorce. In her filings, Remley says her husband held a gun to her head, threatening to kill her, and chased her around the house with a knife, trying to kill her. Remley is asking the court for $15,000 a month in spousal support, saying she pays $12,000 in monthly expenses. Delphi Murders Suspect: PAGAN CULT 'SACRIFICED' Abby & Libby
New court documents aimed at clearing Richard Allen for the murders of Delphi teens Abigail Williams and Liberty German blame white nationalists, practicing Odinism for the deaths. Allen's attorneys says the murders were carried out as part of a pagan ritual. The 136-page document points to the gruesome crime scene noting that sticks and tree branches were placed orderly - on and around the girls’ bodies and pagan religious runes could also be seen. Claims are also being made that other suspects were not pursued. There are also allegations that evidence was suppressed and even changed. The attorneys have requested a Franks hearing to determine if there were improprieties in obtaining a search warrant for Allen's home.
