Welcome to a new episode of Watch Club, where we deep dive into Stan’s chilling yet captivating new crime drama Dr. Death. The eight-part series is based on Wondery's hit podcast of the same name and tells the true story of former American neurosurgeon Dr. Christopher Duntsch, who became known as 'Dr. Death' after it was discovered that he left a trail of severely injured and maimed patients across various hospitals in Texas. In today's episode, we delve into the most terrifying scenes from the series, how they were brought to life and why the casting choices were made to deliberately make you feel uncomfortable.  We also talk through the real-life moments that were changed for the show, the importance of the female characters, and the horrifying truth the final scene revealed. This podcast is full of spoilers so we advise that you watch the series first and then listen to this episode. Plus, it seems like every outlet is plastered with the same story today, proclaiming that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher never wash their two children ‘unless they can see the dirt’. If you read these stories, it's easy to believe they were taking a strong and unconditional stance on parenting, which has sparked a fierce online debate, but their actual comments tell a very different story.
