Dakota Johnson's Finally Telling The Story Behind Her Most Controversial Role
On the show today… If there’s one fabulous Kardashian party we dream of being inhibited to, it’s a North West birthday extravagance. Let's talk about her recent celebration which included mum Kim Kardashian’s private plane, ziplines, and cute blood-covered tents. Plus, Disney+ has released the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated movie Hocus Pocus 2, which reunites our favourite sister witches Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as the beloved Sanderson sisters. But now we have to talk about the movie’s murky past and an awkward relationship brewing between two of the famous co-stars. And Dakota Johnson covers the latest issue of Vanity Fair, in an interview that covers her famous family, her romance with Chris Martin, and her thoughts on the Fifty Shades of Grey movies which she now says were a nightmare to film. But reading between the lines of this interview we have to ask ourselves, how much do we really know about this beloved Hollywood nepo-baby and the life she’s trying to cover up. The Instagram Photo That Landed Emily Ratajkowski In Court
On the show today… The BET Awards for 2022 were held last night, bringing some of our favourite stars together on a very impressive red carpet and honoring African American performers in music, acting and sports over the past year. And Ben Affleck is not having a great week after his son backed a Lamborghini SUV into another pricey vehicle in full view of fans who were tailing him and Jennifer Lopez. We now have a very important update on the incident. Plus, model and author Emily Ratajkowski is being sued over an image she posted to her Instagram account and it’s not the first time she’s been in legal trouble with the paparazzi. "We Hate You". The Conversation We Need Celebrities To Have
On the show today… The lineup has been revealed for Channel 10’s 2022 Pilot Showcase, and there are three new shows in particular that we are pretty excited about watching. And Amy Schumer was recently a guest on Penn Badgley’s podcast and ended up having to tell him why she really fired his wife Domino Kirke shortly after she gave birth, and it's a pretty relatable story. Plus, over the weekend many of us were devastated to hear the news of the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 case that protected one’s choice to have an abortion. It was a subject that dominated celebrity culture over the weekend and today we talk through the most intense celebrity reactions, why it’s more dangerous for some to speak out over others, and the one conversation we need celebrities to keep having. Here are some Mamamia articles about Roe v Wade if you'd like to learn more: Roe v. Wade has been overturned in America. So what does that mean for Australia? "WE WILL NOT STOP." Celebrities react to the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The Conspiracy Theory Behind Sad Brad Pitt
On the show today… Grab your Windex, because My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 has officially gone into production and many of your favourite characters are back to tell a whole new story. And as if beloved Aussie show Neighbours hasn’t been through enough in the past few months, one of the show’s longest-running cast members has given an emotional interview about how badly the cast were treated at the Logies. Plus, everyone is talking about Brad Pitt’s new GQ cover, which features a single rose petal, a potentially dead lizard, and a soulful leading man stare. In the interview, Brad talks about his dreams, his insecurities, and potentially leaving Hollywood for good, but if you look past the images is it all just a calculated PR grab? Kim Kardashian’s New Obsession Is Not Going To End Well
On the show today… Netflix has revealed a list of its top ten most-watched movies and there are two stars in particular who have come out on top. How many of these movies have you seen? And there’s a bit of a scandal currently brewing in Australian reality TV land. The Block host Scott Cam has called out fashion influencer and business owner Elle Ferguson and her fiance Joel Patfull for leaving the show early, dubbing them ‘un-Australian'. But there’s more to this story than just a few headlines. Plus, Hollywood appears to have a renewed interest in Marilyn Monroe, or at least in her public persona. Kim Kardashian has given a new interview about the star, and her infamous Met Gala appearance in her dress, while the first look at Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe in the new Netflix movie Blonde has just been released. Jennifer Aniston Just Entered Her Villian Era
On the show today… Beyonce’s new song Break My Soul came out today and there’s a whole lot of significance behind the day she’s releasing it. Kendall Jenner and a cucumber are once again scoring joint headlines and we’ve now learned that the reality TV star/model has sought out professional help to deal with her vegetable cutting issue. Which is good, because she’s not the only celebrity to be taken down by a cucumber. And it's becoming increasing clear that Jennifer Aniston is entering her villain era. The beloved actress has moved on from the (unfair) ‘Poor Jen’ narrative and is now siding with problematic men and joining in the shaming of women. Her team tried to distract us with a salad, but we saw straight through it. At the same time, there’s one of her problematic opinions we actually agree with.
