Becoming More Productive

Contrary to popular belief, people that schedule or have many meetings during the day are not busier than other people. There are only two determining factors, whether you're busy or whether you're accessible, and how productive you are. You want to hone in on your accessibility and productivity when you look at your calendar. Leverage Your CalendarA calendar is a tool that can change your life. It’s there for a reason, but people often think of using it as a chore. One of the most compelling reasons to be a student of your calendar is that while the amount of time spent on scheduling grows with the amount of appointments that people have, the time needed to actually schedule meetings decreases. This means that the more meetings you schedule, the better you get at scheduling them.Understand that there is a vast difference between being busy, which is filling up those 24 hours you have in a day, compared to productivity, which is being efficient with those 24 hours.A busy person always has something going on, whether that is work or simply sleeping on the couch. They aren’t necessarily productive with the time they are busy, though, and they are often inaccessible.Understand Your ActivitiesA productive person knows how to maximize two things: the activities they get paid for and the activities they don’t get paid for. This delineation is important to make when maximizing your productivity and accessibility, so you can prioritize the activities you get paid for, as well as those activities which you enjoy the most.Tweet me @davidmeltzer your favorite takeaway from today's episode and come ask me questions live every Friday at 11:00 am PST / 2:00 pm EST. The Key to Making the Right Decisions | NoBullCON Keynote

Today's episode is from my Keynote at the NoBullCON. I was so excited to finally be on a stage in front of a live audience for the first time in over a year, so I needed to share this one with all of you.You are going to learn about the key to making decisions, your values.ELEMENT 1: PERSONAL VALUESWhen you are manifesting your vision, you need to analyze the effect on your personal values. Your personal values provide the best foundation for you to manifest things faster and more accurately. No matter what you want to attract in your life, utilize your own personal values to build the best foundation that will provide clarity, balance, and focus with confidence for you. ELEMENT 2: EXPERIENCE VALUESThis element includes all of your experiences, your situational values, and your education. In fact, our failures can be our greatest assets if we can learn something from them.ELEMENT 3: GIVING VALUESThis is the philanthropic component of our foundational values. What you give is what you receive. Ask yourself, how are you helping others? How are you outwardly directing positive energy? Give unconditionally in order to connect to source or goodness.ELEMENT 4: RECEIVING VALUESThis is the wealth element and often referred to as the least important value. Remember, you are a vessel and that things flow through you for others. Don’t let wealth drive you. Let your driving force be clarity, balance, focus, and confidence based on your personal experience and humanitarian values because the money will come based on what you want to manifest as long as you remain ready to receive. Tweet me @davidmeltzer your favorite takeaway from today's episode and come ask me questions live every Friday at 11:00 am PST / 2:00 pm EST.
