The Biggest Realization I Had in 2022 | Road to Revenue & Happiness #145
I used to s*** on the idea of New Year’s Resolutions, but the biggest realization that I had in 2022, was that they are important and we should create New Year’s resolutions. We can’t see the progress or growth we make on a daily basis so we need New Year’s resolutions to keep track of that progress as a baseline for the year.Sometimes, I compare seeing this personal growth to seeing one of your children grow. For you, who sees your kid every day, how fast your children are growing isn’t quite as apparent as it is for someone who only sees that same child every few months. The only times that you clearly see this growth is when you’ve got to buy new clothes or shoes. The other valuable lesson I learned from this realization is, don’t be afraid to be a hypocrite. It just means your values have changed and you’re accelerating in the direction you want.

Setting the Record Straight: My Most Misunderstood Content of 2022
When building your own brand on social media, it’s always important to remember one valuable lesson, it’s not what you say, it’s what they hear. It is important to remember this because not everyone is going to understand the clarity of the message you are trying to convey, and this still happens to me all the time.I went back and found some of my most misunderstood content from this year so that I could practice clarifying my own frequency, and show all of you that I am still learning all of the lessons that I teach. So when this happens, we need to look at the three components of finding your own frequency.(1) Strength - How strong is your signal? What impact does your message have? What can you do to strengthen it and provide more value for your consumers?(2) Spectrum - What’s the spectrum of your signal? What demographics does your brand address, or align with?(3) Clarity - What’s the clarity of your frequency? On what level are people understanding Consider the true purpose behind your brand as you create content, as being authentic helps you to find your frequency. When you understand your frequency, as well as who it works with (and who it doesn’t), you can focus on improving the strength of your signal, its spectrum, and the clarity of your message.

Why 99% of New Year’s Resolutions Fail
For the first 54 years of my life, I didn’t believe in New Year’s Resolutions. Now I understand why they are important. The end of the year is the best time to track the progress that we’ve made in the pursuit of our potential. It is essential to reflect on our progress at the end of the day, week, month, or year so we can pay close attention to how our habits and progress are compounding, whether it be positive or negative. The best way to track our progress is by taking inventory of our values EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.We must take inventory of the values (personal, experiential, giving, and receiving) that make us who we are now, and then imagine the person we want to become. For me, gratitude, empathy (forgiveness), accountability, and effective communication (inspiration) are at the forefront of everything I do.Taking inventory of our values is helpful when making decisions because we can determine if those decisions aligned with our values. We must also acknowledge that our values tend to change over time. We must not be afraid to be a hypocrite and admit when our values are different from what they were in the past. We are all hypocrites, but not all of us are humble enough to admit it.

How I Lost Over $100 Million Dollars
In this episode, I share my personal story of becoming successful at a young age and the consequences that came with it. I allowed everyone around me to drain me, including my family and so-called friends. I had no one in my life who practiced the balanced give-and-take of the Ben Franklin effect, where I was always helping others but never asking for help myself.Through my journey, I learned about the importance of the Ben Franklin effect, which states that when others help us, they become invested in our success and are more likely to offer assistance in the future. However, if we are not humble enough to ask for help, we will never receive it. My pride and belief that I didn't need anyone's help or advice led to my downfall and the loss of my humility. In this podcast, I share my insights and lessons learned in hopes of helping others avoid the same mistakes.

Creating Your Own “Luck” | Road to Revenue & Happiness #144
There is a very simple equation for life. What we pay attention to (aka what we’re aware of) plus where we put intention in (aka what we think, say, do, and believe) equals the coincidences that happen in your life. Intention has levels, however, which means that we need to further examine how we are utilizing our time and activities. This intentional approach will ensure that we do, speak, think, believe, and feel the right things in order to achieve our desired results.
