Ohio State playoff conundrum, Tom Herman & Scott Frost replacements

Dan Wetzel, Pete Thamel and SI’s Pat Forde begin with Ohio State as the Buckeyes missed yet another game due to COVID-19 protocols this past weekend. How will the College Football Playoff Committee look at the Buckeyes if they aren’t able to compete for a conference title? Tom Herman and Scott Frost, once lauded as blue blood saviors, are both on very hot seats. Ode to the Egg Bowl, Rivalry Week preview, basketball mayhem

On the anniversary of the Piss and the Miss, Dan Wetzel, Pete Thamel, and SI’s Pat Forde wanted to take time out of their busy holiday week to once again thank Rebel WR Elijah Moore for his antics before previewing the first Lane Kiffin vs Mike Leach edition of the Egg Bowl.The SEC’s other famous rivalry, the Iron Bowl, also takes place this week. Big Ten semifinals, Pac-12 needs non-con games, contract madness

Dan Wetzel, Pete Thamel and SI’s Pat Forde begin with the news out west where the Pac-12 is now allowing its teams to schedule non-conference games this season. Just how likely is an Oregon vs BYU type showdown? The guys then turn their attention to the massive weekend in the Big Ten as #9 Indiana and #3 Ohio State square off for East supremacy and #10 Wisconsin and #19 Northwestern battle for the top spot in the West. Who will come out on top and race towards Indianapolis? We also saw a flurry of ridiculous buyouts and contract extensions at South Carolina, Tennessee and Wichita State. Pat, Pete and Dan rail on administrators' unbelievable habit of signing terrible contracts. On the hardwood, the NCAA released plans to host the entire tournament in the Indianapolis area.
