Alrighty guys, this episode is extra special to my heart because it’s officially my last episode (for now) on this show before I transition back to the Highly Optimized podcast, my first project that was birthed in 2019 when I chose to start paving my own path, leave my job & go into the unknown. To say the last 3 years of doing this show has been magical, exciting & heart warming would be an understatement & I truly hope all of you continue to tune in on the Highly Optimized podcast because, to be honest, the Highly Optimized podcast just feels much more like me right now. One of the main reasons I love podcasting so much is, yep, you guessed it, I adore speaking, however, speaking to myself alone in a room is a little weird & definitely not the same experience as when I get to speak to others who stimulate my curiosity, peak my inspiration & remind me of how epic & infinite life can be. One of, if not my favorite types of stories I enjoy hearing from the psychedelic space are the stories that come from individuals who, at one point, did not resonate with psychedelic medicines at all. You guys have heard me say before & I’ll say it again that for me, I never judge anyone who is opposed or not interested in psychedelic medicines because the truth is nothing is for everybody, however, when someone finds their own way into these medicines & has powerful results thereafter, I jump at the opportunity to have them share their story with me, let alone when it’s someone who is a dear friend & such a kind & big hearted individual like todays guest. He & I first met about 5 years ago through the Enlifted community & right of the bat after meeting him, I knew he was a dedicated, committed & open hearted individual. Since we met, he found his way into psychedelic medicines & let’s just say the effects have been profound, to say the least. As such, in this episode, we dive into his childhood, his adolescence, how pain in his life has led him to breakthroughs time & time again & some words of wisdom from him with regards to how to approach friends, family members & more who we want to share these medicines with, but feel as though they don’t currently resonate with them.
